Study plan adalah sebuah karangan singkat mengenai rencana yang akan dilakukan selama masa study, study plan ini biasanya diperlukan bagi teman-teman yang ingin melanjutkan study ke luar negeri. Singkat cerita ini pula yang menjadi momok besar bagi mereka-mereka yang ingin belajar keluar negeri (termasuk saya).
Saya akan share study plan saya yang Alhamdulilah tembus untuk aplikasi beasiswa Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) tahun 2012. Semoga bermanfaat buat teman-teman, jangan lupa sertakan saran dan kritik bagi yang sudah membacanya.

Since I was in senior high
school, I have interest with technology, is proven by my taking Senior High
School at International Telecommunication Vocational High School, I studied
about electronics, networking, and computer system. I get the subject about
CISCO networking academy. After studying all above subjects at senior high
school, my interesting in technology become stronger and stronger.
I
continued my study at Electronics and Instrumentation study programme, Department
of Computer Science and Electronics, Faculty of mathematics and science, Universitas
Gadjah Mada. I studied many more interesting subjects such as electronics,
sensor technology, computer algorithms, mechatronics, instrumentation devices,
control system, and robotics. While studying, I took part in many events,
student organization, working at electronics and instrumentation laboratory and
help my supervisor in his doctoral research.
The
events I took part are robot competition such as Line follower robot, fire
fighting robot contest, creative student event, student research grant, telemetry
and telecontrol of rocket competition. When I took part in line follower robot
competition held at Jakarta state polytechnic, I and my team became the 1st
winner and then we also became the 2nd winner in line follower robot
contest held in Surabaya Institute of Technology. When I took part in creative
student event, I have a research about electronic nose to determine the
freshness of the fish using Artificial Neural Network. When I took part in telemetry
and telecontrol of rocket competition, I built the Ground Segment to receive
data from rocket and built the hardware of rocket which can maintain condition
of the earth from the space, in this event my rocket team became the winner of
rocket creativity because we can built a unique hardware of the rocket. In this
year I and my team join in the student research grant held by our University,
there are two of our proposals which are accepted. The research of the first
proposal is about detection of pig fat in the food using taste sensor and the
research of the second proposal is about measurement device of water intensity in
the wood using electrical conductivity.
In the
student organization, I became the chief of administration at physic student
organization and at Electronics and Instrumentation student organization. I am also
active in many events which held by student organization, such as committee of
conference, computer exhibition, committee of Indonesian Robot Contest,
Electronics and Instrumentation student gathering and Physic student gathering.
I also work at Electronics
and Instrumentation laboratory as assistant of laboratory. I give guidance to
student who will do the experiment of laboratory. I help my supervisor in his
doctoral research about electronic tongue especially in taste sensor. I make taste
membrane by 5 variations of compositions of the chemical ingredients, this
membrane will detect the taste of liquid. My final project before graduating is
“OPTIMIZING FIRE DETECTION ON INTELEGENT FIRE FIGHTING ROBOT USING PROPORTIONAL
DERIVATIVES (PD) ALGORITHM ON TPA81 SENSOR”
The objective of this research are to design and to make hardware and software
of the fire fighting robot, to use TPA81 sensor to detect the flame without
tracing wall of the room and to use the proportional derivatives algorithm to process
the output of TPA 81 sensor.
I have work experience as
the part time job at Technovision Inc, the small company which has a business
about instrumentations and control devices. This company was built by my senior
in my department. By joining research in this company, I have so many
experiences about instrument devices and also about business strategy.
Now I am at the last
semester, I will graduate by May 2012. I am an assistant lecturer in my
department and also become a candidate of the lecturer in my university. I have
a plan to continue my study in master course about electrical and information
engineering. After reviewing and reading the profile of Beihang University, I
am interested to continue study at Beihang University. There are so many majors
in Beihang University. I am interesting to continue study Electrical and
Information Engineering at Beihang University because this major is suitable
with my basic major. In this major, I will learn about Electrical and
Information Engineering more and more advance. This major is developing
continuously. I want to study about it so I will be “up to date” about
Electrical and Information Engineering. I have interested how to implement
electronics as information devices for transferring data in high speed rate
transfer, how to optimize electronic circuit of information device and how to
simplify or maybe digitalize the electronic for information purpose. I want to
conduct research about above matter in Beihang University.
After graduating from Beihang University,
I would like to apply to become a lecturer in Electronics and Instrumentation
study programe, Department of Computer Science and
Electronics, Universitas Gadjah Mada. One of the requirements is the
candidate must have finished his/her master course. Being a lecturer, I will
also become a researcher at Electronics and Instrumentation Laboratory. There
are so many researches over there such as : electronic tounge, electronic
nouse, image processing for face detection, eyes detection, fingerprint, UAV
and robotics. I also want to implement what I study at Beihang University
to Electronics and Instrumentation Laboratory. I hope the researches at
Electronics and Instrumentation Laboratory will improve. That is why I want
to continue my master course at Beihang
University.
